Hi, How do you do a factory reset on your chromecast if you no longer have access to your old network. I just keep on getting sent around on the same loop. Not sure what gen but I've had it for a few years

All models of Chromecast have a reset button on the device that can be held in to factory reset the device.

I have the same issue, factory reset does not help. I've tried it 5 plus times and it still won't join my home.

jeffreymccain, could you please tell us more about your concern so we can further assist you? Are you getting any messages during set up? What type of Chromecast device do you have? What's the LED light status in your Chromecast?
