Chromecast trying to get me to pay for episodes available for free

Searching for the show ‘Station Eleven’ on the chromecast Home Screen and it found it but claimed the only way of watching it was by buying episodes from the google store even though it’s available to stream on Lionsgate Plus. 
With other shows it comes up with multiple ways of streaming. Any idea why this is?

Google works very hard to identify all the sources for shows but there is NO way they can get them all.  Many of the services don't have a good way for Google to check with them to see what's available.

You can tell Google about this by using the "Send Feedback" option:

Google doesn't read every post in this forum but they do read and track all the feedback they receive that way. Just so you know, they won't respond directly to feedback so don't ask them any questions.
