I keep getting 10 second buffering on every you tube video.
I have reset app, chromecast ,router, everything.
New account still does it.
Netflix and prime work fine.
Have 65 and 18 on broadband.
Works OK on Android phone.
Any ideas please or I am going to have to ditch it and go back to routing through xbox.

Hey there joner4567,
I'm sorry to hear that your YouTube app is having some buffering issues! It sounds like resolving this has been quite the headache, so I'd be happy to help out. First, I would recommend that you clear out the cached data on the YouTube app. I would also try resetting the app as well doing this: Open the YouTube App, go to Settings > Reset app and press on "Reset app".
I look forward to your response, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know!
Best regards,
Jeran

Hi Jeran,
Thanks, I have tried all the resets, clearing cache on all devices.
Reinstalled apps, reboot the router,
Reset the apps. Tried a new account.
It seems to be 10 seconds every video now to load.
All other apps are fine.
Any ideas?.
Thanks.
Ian

Hey there joner4567,
This sounds like an issue that used to be around back in December, but has since been fixed by the YouTube team. Just to double-check, is your Chromecast's firmware up-to-date? What is the firmware version of your Chromecast?
Best regards,
Jeran

Hi jeran .
I tried everything that was suggested and still has a blank screen, almost as if it is trying to play ads.
I use a premium account , and is the same on all devices.
If I log out of my premium it works instantly with ads.
Seems the problem is with my premium account.
I have tried and reset everything I am changing my isp as well.

Hey there joner4567,
I think in this case, it may be best to have you speak with Chromecast Support, as they would have more tools than I would to look into this. If you don't mind, would you be able to fill out this form, so they can contact you?
Best regards,
Jeran
