Does anyone know if the CC problem with the T-Mobile Home Gateway has been solved? There have been dozens of complaints on the T-Mobile Gateway support site.
T-Mobile issued a general firmware update in May, '21 and no complaints have been posted since then.
I don't want to buy the Gateway until the problem is resolved.
T-Mobile support is impossible to reach.

You would have your modem connected to your own router, which would handle all devices, both wireless and hardwired. Chromecasts can run very well via wifi(all of mine are on wifi with no issues at all).
This is only a suggestion, as I had mentioned it seems like the t mobile routers cause a lot of issues with smart home devices

I spoke to a few t mobile customers recently with the same issues (when I say recently I mean in the last two weeks). Saying this, If you use your own router then you will be fine, which is what most ended up doing.

I don't understand.
"your own router"
I have a Verizon modem, a Comcast Ultra dongle and a Sony Bravira TV without an Ethernet connector.
The T-Mobile Gateway has two Ethernet outputs. Where would I put another router?
