Chromecast with Google TV (4k) need to be opened 2 times

Hello everyone.

I have setup my chromecast 4k. Everything seems normal except power on it.

It's open and then suddenly close itself, when I press power button to open it by chromecast remote. Then I press again power button and it's opening. I mean I need to press 2 times to open it by chromecast remote.

My TV model is Sony XF8577. There are also connected ps5 and samsung soundabar via hdmi. I tried with 2 another hdmi slots and nothing has changed. HDMI-CEC option is open both chromecast and sony tv.

Could you help about this issue?

Thanks for reaching out and for doing some steps beforehand — it's a big help! To cover all the bases, could you please remove and re-add your TV under the remotes and accessories settings, then test? Resetting your Chromecast with Google (4K) and Chromecast Voice Remote might also help. Once done, set up the remote buttons again by following the steps here

Hi Jennifer,

Firstly thank you for following the issue properly.

I needed to change my power outlet before apply your suggestions. And then I noticed that it was fixed.

I hope I won't have same problem again but it would occur I will do your suggestions.
