Chromecast with Google tv (GZRNL) can't log into YouTube tv

I have a Chromecast With Google TV (model GZRNL) and it seems to no longer be able to log into YouTube. It feels very much like how the other "older" devices won't log in either.

I don't want to waste my time troubleshooting it only to find out I've been soft blocked out of signing in to this one too.

Can anyone confirm?

If so, this is the last Chromecast I ever buy. I was annoyed enough about them doing it to the other ones but this one is only 3 years old.

Hi @AlexOfAnders 

Google TV is still supported and so is the YouTube app.

Not sure why you have issues with logging in. You could try clearing the cache for the app.

Thanks for confirming. Resetting the app worked it out. 

I think I'm just still bitter about the drop in support for my other 3 Chromecasts
