After a few years the Chromecast stopped connecting to the internet, so I factory reset it and now it won't connect to any wifi. I've tried 3 different routers, hotspot on a phone, I've tried setting it up with an Android device, an IOS device, moving it around the house, closer to router, areas without other wifi devices... It just will not connect. I've updated all the firmware on the routers I've tried, scoured through Reddit posts trying different things, 2.4ghz, 5ghz, different channels. My internet works fine on the 10 other devices I have connected to the wifi. I'm about to give up on it, any ideas?
Im an IT systems engineer, so I'm pretty tech savvy, willing to try anything.

Hi @Selym
If you did a factory reset by using the hardware key on the device I am afraid you are out of options.
Did you try to set it up like a new device after the factory reset?

I do not. Chromecast still not functional, so I'm using a ROKU I had lying around instead that works fine.
