Chromecast wont log into youtube account

I have never had this issue before, but now my chromecast is logged out of my youtube account (it usually logs on when i cast from my phone). There is no option to do it via the controller or in the app, Im still logges in on my phone. This essentialy has barred me from watching the movies i have bought via youtube and videos with 18+ Age rating. All i can find online is that this issue has happened with other users, and that google claims the problem is fixed (it is not)

Quick questions: what type of Chromecast device do you have? Is this only happening when casting from the YouTube app? Please clear the cache and data of the YouTube app and reboot your Chromecast.
