Why is Alphabet so dumb? I want to activate my Chromecast but Google sends me off into oblivion with their links.

Easy 4 steps, plug in the chromecast to your TV, with the usb plugged into the provided usb power adapter, download and open the google home app, setup the chromecast following the instructions in the google home app, enjoy. Which step is giving you trouble?
