Closed caption language

I'm using Chromecast on my TV. The CC language in Amazon Prime changed from English (USA) to another language that I don't recognize. I went to settings - caption language - and selected English (USA), but it still didn't change. Am I missing a step? What else can I do?

Hey there geneherd,

I apologize about the delayed response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix those closed captions? If not, I'd be glad to assist you in figuring this out! The first thing I would try is clearing out the cached data on the Amazon Prime app, in case there is old data overwriting the new option. If that doesn't resolve it, go ahead and delete the app, then reinstall it.
