My Samsung Smart TV works fine with all of my Google minis, but it won't work with my Google Nest. The Google Nest always turns to YouTube instead of the tv.

My biggest problem was that the Nest wanted to play something on YouTube instead. Then if I whispered to the mini to do it, it would send it to the Nest to handle on YouTube. Ugh! That was a bit frustrating. If the Nest was never involved, then the mini would do the tv commands. (I need to move the Nest a bit further away from the mini so that I can direct the command to one specific device.) The Nest always worked with the tv. One day it just started reverting to YouTube, but I'm pretty sure I've gotten it fixed now. I made some changes in my Home settings and now the Nest looks like it's finally gotten away from YouTube. Sometimes everything works pretty well on both the Nest and the mini. There are just some glitches that need to be worked out I guess. There is still a problem that if I tell the mini to turn the volume down to a certain number and then immediately tell it to change to Channel 7, it will turn the volume to 7. It refuses to go to Channel 7 in that case. It is stuck on volume only in that case. I don't know if the Nest is guilty of that too. I never tried. I guess Samsung and Google just don't play that nicely together yet. Thanks.
