Did Album Photos ever work with Amient Mode on Chromecast?

Was this feature dead on arrival or is it still possible to get it to work?

Hi there,

Yes this feature has always worked for me. Have a look at the Chromecast help center link below and if it's your own photos that you are trying to display look at the section near the bottom of that page that describes how Google can  use automatic photo curation and how to stop this if required.
