Disconections during streaming (tablet to pc monitor)

A thread in a boardgame forum has prompted me to get a Chromecast so that my mates can follow the action on a pc monitor in app-based board games (e.g. Oathsworn).
Devices used:
Samsung Galaxy Tab A7
LG monitor
Google Chromecast (bought in 2021, model no. GA00439-DE)

It works in principle, but there are always disconnections.
We have had problems with Oathsworn in recent weeks. The first disconnection occurred after about 1 hour. Then we reconnected and 10 minutes later the connection was lost again.
Yesterday the connection was lost after about 30 minutes. This time a message was displayed on the tablet: "Bildschirmzeit zum Monitor überschritten" (Screen time to monitor exceeded).
Wi-Fi is available in the room. I have replaced the old WLAN repeater with a new one (AVM FRITZ!Repeater 1200 AX).
I have already set the screen switch-off time on the tablet to 30 minutes (switching off completely doesn't seem to work). But even in the Encounter phase in Oathsworn, the tablet does NOT go in standby.

Suggestions?
