Family Link for Chomecast / Google TV

Hi, 

I use Family Link to manage my kids use of their phones successfully (and less successful for the Google Nest Mini but that's another topic...). 

Have brought Google TV with Chromecast (HD) over a Fire TV device so I can manage their screen time for TV like I do for their phones. It's all setup with both me (parent) and child account added, child lock enabled etc and I can see the Chromecast device in Family Link. I can even see the time spent on indivual apps on the Chromecast fine.

What I can't seem to do is MANAGE the time on Chromecast with Family Link like I can with their Android phone. E.g. I can't grant bonus time or edit bedtime schedules. This has to be done on the Chromecast device itself from what I can see. 

Is this correct? Am I missing something or should this be a feature request?

Hi stevehoot,

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. You can manage parental control in the Google TV settings, but I don’t think that it fully syncs with the Family Link app, which is why your controls are limited. I strongly suggest that you send feedback on that feature request.

Let us know if you have other questions or concerns with your Chromecast device.
