I bought a Chromecast with Google TV this week, and I initially used it on a Toshiba TV. I then decided to move it to a ViewSonic computer monitor (va2265smh, to be specific) and plug it into a HDMI port. It immediately popped up with the loading screen. However, even after a factory reset on the Chromecast, a restart of my iPhone, a reboot of the router, changing the batteries on the remote, reinstalling Google Home, and even a power cycle on the ViewSonic, I can't get past the loading screen using either the Google Home app or the remote.
Do I need to do things in a specific order? Is there a reason it wouldn't work on the ViewSonic, even though I've previously used an older-generation Chromecast on it?

Hi bdure,
Thanks for reaching out and for doing some steps beforehand — these are of great help! To cover all the bases, could you please try to plug in the Chromecast into a different HDMI port on your computer monitor? Also, please check the HDMI settings on your monitor. If you're not familiar with it, please reach out to ViewSonic.
Thanks,
Jennifer
