Hey there possie53,

I apologize for the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to figure out how to cast from your Oppo mobile device? If not, I'd be happy to help out! Now, is your phone running android? If so, go ahead and follow the steps listed in this article, and they should show you how to mirror your android screen to the Chromecast.

I hope that helps, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know!

Best regards,
Jeran

Hey there possess53,

No problem at all! If you want those photos from Google Photos to appear on your Ambient Mode, check out this article on how to set that up. If you want to cast the photos directly from Google Photos, go ahead and check out this article.

Let me know if that helps!

Best regards,

Jeran

Hey there possie53,

No problem at all! Here is how to access the Ambient Mode settings on Google TV:

  1. From the Google TV home screen, at the top right, go to the user profile icon and select Settings.
  2. Select System and then Ambient mode.
  3. Choose what you want to show:
    • Google Photos: Choose photos or albums saved in your Google Photos account.
    • Art gallery: Choose featured photos, fine art, and more.
    • Experimental: Try out new sources and content.

Let me know if that helps you out!

Thank you,
Jeran
