I’m trying to set up my chromecast and when I’m on the google home app trying to find my chromecast device, it ends up showing me the device for someone else in my apartment complex, there isn’t an option to show other nearby devices and will only let me set up my neighbors chromecast for some reason. All of my devices are connected to the same network (my WiFi network) and I’m having the hardest time trying to figure out how to fix this. Any help is appreciated!

A few questions — what's the make and model of the mobile device you used for setup? What's the LED light status on your Chromecast (solid or flashing white)? What's the distance between the router and the Chromecast device?
