I got a new wifi and now my chrome cast won’t connect to it

New wifi won’t connect can’t communicate with device so I disconnected it from my phone and now I can’t factory reset, I have reinstalled app I have unplugged chrome cast it just won’t work

Hi RomanS24,

You can factory reset a Chromecast using the button on the device.

  1. While the Chromecast is plugged into the TV, hold down the button on the Chromecast device for at least 25 seconds or until the solid LED light flashes red.
  2. Once the LED light blinks white and the TV goes blank, release the button. The device should then restart.
