Its not getting past connecting with my phone and internet

I've been trying to set up my Chromecast for the past few days and it is not letting me get past connecting to the internet with my phone and all that I've tried about four or five different times and it's just not letting me before it was working perfectly fine and I was able to get in but now I am not

Thanks for reaching out. Let's sort this out.

 

A few questions: what's the LED light status in your Chromecast? Are there any recent changes in your Wi-Fi network? How far is your Chromecast from the Wi-Fi router and set up device?

 

Give these steps a try:

 

  1. Make sure that the Chromecast device is within 15 to 20 feet of the setup device and the Wi-Fi router.
  2. Toggle Wi-Fi off and on from the setup device.
  3. Reboot your Wi-Fi router.
  4. Reboot your Chromecast.
  5. Reboot your mobile phone.
  6. Close and reopen the Google Home app.
  7. If you're using an iOS device, please turn on the Local Network Access for the Google Home app.
  8. Use a different mobile phone.
  9. Perform a factory reset.
