MLB.TV - Closed Caption

I have a Samsung tv. Every time I cast a game from the MLB.TV game to my television using. Chromecast, the closed caption automatically comes on. Closed caption is turned off in my TV settings as well as in the app. Anyone else experienced this issue?

Hi,

Just tested with a Vizio and Samsung and no issues for me with the CC staying on when casting from phone app.

Delete the MLB app and reinstall it. See if that helps. 

Are you using a VPN and casting from Chrome? That also causes issues with MLB.TV.

Thank you for the advice. I will test. I have Xfinity Internet, I wonder if that could have something to do with it?

Xfinity should be fine. Sometimes people use unsupported situations to receive blackout games. The only reason I mentioned it.⚾

More likely it is the MLBTV app or possibly your TV but if you aren't having constant captions on other apps/shows all things point to that MLB app.
