NBA app stream freezing

I have always had stuttering casting NBA via Chromecast so I bought a new one with Google TV which I had heard would work better. Now the games play for a few seconds and the picture freezes while the sound continues. Works fine watching on my phone. Any help appreciated.

I am having the same expriences... The new NBA app on Chromecast Google TV or even Android is pretty bad.

It constantly logs me out and the stuttering is normal.

Best thing you can do is reach out to NBA to get the NBA app fixed. 😣

Eltalstro, how's it going? Still need help? If so, please reinstall the NBA app and reboot your Chromecast with Google TV (4K). If the issue persists and this is isolated when using the NBA app, please reach out to the app developer as per advised by our Product Expert.
