Netflix don't work on chromecast

Hello, I just bought a Chromecast 4, installed it, went through the whole process, I want to turn on Netflix, I only enter the netflix main menu, when I start any movie or series, I get an error TVq-000. And I can't watch any movies

I am also having this issue since the OS12 update. I have to restart the device to be able to watch Netflix. It works after a restart but everytime I turn my tv on, I need to restart chromecast. Wondering if its perhaps a bug in the new OS?

Hey there Bambusta,

I'm sorry to hear that Netflix is having some issues on your Chromecast with Google TV. I'd be happy to help out where I can! Here is the Netflix article for the tvq-000 error, as this is a Netflix specific error. Go ahead and try the troubleshooting listed in the article, and see if it helps. In the meantime, see if casting Netflix from another device, such as a phone or tablet, works for you. Netflix may need to update their app for the newest Android 12 update.

so yes
i tried everything recommended in this article and netflix doesn't work anyway. I turned on netflix on my phone, tablet and computer and everything is fine, but I think sometimes my subscription will not be a problem? 2 years ago, when I bought a subscription, there were options how many devices can it support and my subscription could only support the phone or tablet / computer, not a TV set, maybe it's a problem that I will try to turn it on on the TV?

Hey there Bambusta,

 

In this case, I would clear out Netflix's cached app data and try it again. If the problem persists, go ahead and uninstall and reinstall the application. Finally, with it being a Netflix specific error, I would reach out to Netflix Support to see if they are aware of any issues with the app on the new Chromecast update.
