Hi,
I am trying to cast the Sky Go App using chromecast.
I have installed the latest version of Sky Go (Version 22.7.1).
I have a 1st generation chromecast.
I am using a Samsung Galaxy A32 5G running Android 12.
I have the cast button on other apps like YouTube, but not in the Sky Go App.
I would be very grateful for any assistance.

Hi cameronweir73,
Thanks for reaching out. I checked the information about this on the Sky website, and it shows that their app is only compatible with Chromecast 3rd Gen and Chromecast Ultra. They don't support other models of Chromecast or Chromecast built-in. See the information here.
Hope that answered your concern.
Thanks,
Jennifer

Hi Jennifer,
Thank you for reaching out to me regarding the versions of Chromecast that Sky support and don't support.
It is a shame that Sky have taken this decision, as the first edition of the Chromecast is still a very capable device.
Sorry, that I didn't manage to reply to you sooner and thanks again for your assistance.
Kind Regards,
Cameron

Hello cameronweir73,
No problem at all. If Sky has an option to send feedback, you can send feedback about this so they can have their app support the other Chromecast devices. In the meantime, do you still have other questions and concerns?
Regards,
Jennifer

Hi Jennifer,
Sky don't seem to have a way of submitting feedback or if they do, it is not easy to find.
They have a virtual assistant, which couldn't answer my question and only directed me to their community support forums.
I will try posting on there and see what happens.
In the meantime, I have no further questions or concerns.
Thanks once again for your assistance.
Kind Regards,
Cameron
