Multiple devices not getting sound from device. We have restarted, reset, and replaced some devices. It appears to possibly be an issue with a chrome update. Curious if anyone else experiencing this issue?
Staff are casting from chromebook to chromecast 3rd gen and chromecast HD.
Not happening at all locations.

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. We’re sorry for the delay in response. Kindly try casting from a smartphone or tablet and use cast-enabled apps such as YouTube, Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, etc. to see if the Chromecast device is working as intended. If it works, then this is isolated to the Chrome browser. I suggest you give our friends at the Google Chrome Help Community a shout. They may know a particular setting that can be toggled in Chrome://flags, or they may have a workaround for this.
