No volume at all

Hi. hoping someone help me put.

Yesterday I was casting to my t.v. fine.

Today it didn't work so I had to reset the chromecast.  

 

Now I have no volume from my tv

The volume os on 60% on google home. The volume is up on the TV and is up on my Samsung galaxy phone.  

Please help!

sorry - more info.  I'm qctually not sure what 'generation' my chrome cast device is.

That certainly hasn't been easy for you ― let’s check this out.

 

Just to make sure, you are able to cast to your TV with the video showing up, right? But no volume at all? How was the factory reset done and please describe to me what kind of Chromecast do you have? Where is the position of the G logo or Chromecast logo on the device? What is the status of the LED light? Is the TV connected to an external receiver, soundbar, or speakers?

 

Try these steps:

  1. If possible, cast Chromecast on a different TV.
  2. Check if the no audio issue occurs from all apps or only when casting certain websites
  3. Unplug your Chromecast from the power and transfer to a new HDMI port.
