I have the latest Chromecast with Google TV which has worked well, streaming videos from Youtube, Netflix and other sites to my TV without any problem. However, when a show/film (could be Netflix, HBO Max, Amazon, or other) uses Bitmovin Player, TV screen shows 3 grey dots just doing circles. It won't show the video nor audio from the stream to the TV.
Issue: a player called "Bitmovin Player" is listed when I click on Chromecast icon; it says connected to "Bitmovin Player" but the content never shows up on the TV at all. In fact, it starts to cast with little dots running across the screen and then pauses on both the computer and the TV and then stops the content on both screens.
Another example: on Netflix, the preview or trailer of a show is Cast to TV seamlessly. The actual film or episode.... not! It uses Bitmovin player.
I have tried ALL the suggested fixes, from unplugging all devices to full resets, phone, computer, router, etc. All apps and devices are updated. CC works pretty smoothly except on anything that involves Bitmovin player.
Help please.

Hi folks,
Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. This Bitmovin player that you mentioned, did you install it in your Chromecast with Google TV? Or is it installed on your computer? You mentioned that when you click the cast icon (it's not a Chromecast icon because Chromecast is the name of the device), do you see this Bitmovin as one of the choices along with the Chromecast itself? Or you don’t see your Chromecast in the choices? How was it when you played the actual apps installed on your Chromecast with Google TV? Kindly try to cast using a different casting source, like apps on your smartphone such as Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, Prime Video, etc. If you have another computer, we can also use that for testing. Make sure you cast using the Google Chrome browser, since it is the only browser/application that is optimized to work with Chromecast devices.
Let us know how it goes. We look forward to your response.
Thanks,
Kimy
