Clicking the Chromecast button at the bottom of a youtube video, results in the wrong YT video being cast. It is always one which I was watching in the last week.
Sometimes clicking Play button in YT is enough to fix. Other times have to F5 or close/restart Chrome.
Have been casting in the same way (without this error) from some years. This seems to be a new issue with Chrome. Version 103.0.5060.114

Another related issue. Today, start up Chrome, and the Chromecast button at the bottom of the YT video panel pops up a local div with choices of This PC or (name of chromecast device). Clicking the device choice gives no playback. No other way to cast is offered.
Restarting Chrome a couple of times, now that button offers a pop-up up area at the top, with the name a snapshot of the video, playback controls, and cast options. Wasn't there before. Why not?
They've really broken it.

Quick questions: were you able to cast from the YouTube app on a mobile device? Have you tried casting from Netflix or other supported apps and check if the same issue persists? Could you please share a photo or video of the issue?

Clicking the chromecast button at the lower right of the YT panel, is now consistently opening the dialog in the upper right This has a thumbnal and play/pause controls. The issue seems to have stopped now that this dialog is appearing.
Presumably a bug in Chrome that has now been fixed.
