Hi. I seem to have a couple of issues
1) using Google TV on Android Samsung 5g phone.
I have purchased 2 different google tv items and both have poor sound quality on my Android. I have to have headphones to max to hear any dialogue. I can't find any menu anywhere within the open google tv app that accesses closed captions/subtitles. (The tv season info indicated it had English language subtitles)
2) this problem is replicated when I chromecast it to my TV.
Could someone please advise. I won't be able to continue to use google tv if this problem can not be rectified.

Hi Jtebmala,
Thanks for reaching out. The subtitle still depends on the app you're using if it's available on the video that you're watching. To determine if the video has subtitles, please try the steps below:
If you're using an Android-based device, try these steps:
You can also filter content to include subtitles. You can type keywords such as "Subtitles", "CC", or "Closed caption" in the search bar. For example, the keywords "Subtitles The Mask" will result to The Mask with subtitles and/or closed captioning.
For the poor sound quality issue, please make sure the Chromecast device is plugged in correctly and securely in the HDMI port on your TV. Also, try to reboot your device and mobile phone.
Thanks,
Jennifer
