Samsung tv won't switch to Chromecast automatically when casting

Hi guys,

I don't know if anyone else has had this problem, but we have a chromecast on all 4 tv's in the house. I've had them for a long while, probably 14 years or so. On 2 of our older tv's (Toshibas) the tv automatically switches as I cast, but on newer Samsung tv's it won't change automatically. 

One of the Samsung is around 6 years old, the other around 3. It's not a massive problem, but just wondered if this is common with Samsung, or if there's a way to  make them switch over when I start to cast?

I've looked in the settings, and can't see anything I can change?

We hope you were able to get the help you need, but if you're still having issues, I would double-check that the Chromecast and TV's firmware is up-to-date, and that the Chromecast dongles are plugged into an HDMI slot that supports CEC.
