Screen breaking up, no LED light

Thanks for reaching out. Let's sort this out.

 

A few questions: what type of Chromecast device do you have? Is the Chromecast plugged in snugly and directly to the power outlet? Have you tried plugging another device (phone, tablet, etc.) to the outlet? Have you tried plugging the Chromecast into a different power outlet or USB port?

 

Try these steps:

 

  1. Make sure the power outlet you're using to plug in the Chromecast is functional. Please plug your phone to the outlet and check if it charges.
  2. Make sure the Chromecast is plugged directly to a power outlet (not a surge protector).
  3. Try to plug in your Chromecast into a different HDMI port on your TV
  4. If possible, plug in your Chromecast in a different TV screen.
  5. Make sure you're using the power cord that came with their Chromecast device.
  6. Check that the power adapter is not damaged. If the original power adapter is not working, try a different one.
