Source not available in YouTube

With Google home i can connect to Chrome, but in Youtube I'm missing the source in the YouTube app. Any suggestion why this might happen? Thank you

I'm sorry about the late response, thank you for your patience! Were you able to fix that casting issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:

  • When did this issue start happening?
  • Are you able to connect using the YouTube website?
  • Is your Google Home and YouTube app up-to-date?
  • Do you have location services enabled on your Android device?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?

Yes I still have the problem unchanged. When exactly that started I don't know myself, because I was not using Chrome cast for a while (but was always attached to the TV). Yes, I can open Youtube site and als the Youtube App is working properly. And yes, Google home and YouTube app are all up to date. Also the android version. As I said: in Google home I'm able to connect to Chrome cast. Only in youtube the source is not shown. So far I tried resetting Chrome cast. But without luck.

No problem at all! Let's try a few things to try to resolve this issue:

Give those steps a try, then tell me if the YouTube app is able to see the Chromecast after that!
