The audio for some apps is not working

AlexMaza

I just bought it I configured yesterday. Whenever I just some music app or YouTube the audio work just find but if I use any streaming app like star or Netflix the audio stops working, it is just high-pitched notes so I have to unplugged the hdmi and plug it in again and it works. If the movie or episode change the the high-pitched notes retorn and I have to do the same unplug, plug in thing. This only happens with streaming apps.

Hey there AlexMaza,

I apologize about the late response, thank you for your patience on this! I can imagine this issue is pretty frustrating, so I'd be happy to help you out. What I would try first is plugging the Chromecast into different HDMI ports on the TV to see if the issue persists. If it does, see if it still occurs when casting from another device, such as a computer or tablet. That way, we can try to narrow it down and see if the issue is rooted on the TV, or the casting device. If you are able to, try plugging the Chromecast into another TV as well to see if the problem still happens.

I look forward to your response, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know!

Best regards,
Jeran
