Hi,
I bought Google Chromecast 3 and am using it. I've been using it for three months now, but one day, the sound suddenly stopped coming out. Then, if I turn off and on Chromecast3 again or disconnect from Google Home and reconnect, the sound will come out again.
1.Chromecast3 connect with Galaxy Note 4.
2. I didn't change the Wi-Fi.
3.And sometimes I couldn't find Chromecast 3 on Google Home app of my phone , so I recently initialized it several times.
4.The battery of Note 4 runs out quickly, so I'm using it after plugging it in as a charging line.

What version of Google Home are you running?
Is your Chromecast's firmware up-to-date?
