There is no option to link Disney plus or HBO Max with google account, voice commands does not work

Hi,

I just bought Chromecast TV HD. If I want to find some move that it's available on Netflix then either voice search or voice play commands work well. For other providers it's not.

I live in Poland. In Google Home app (on my mobile), in  Add Movies And Pictures section I can link only Netflix or Google Pictures (there is no other options visible). On Chromecast settings (accessed with remote) I can link to Netflix, AppleTV and Prime Video only. Disney+ or HBO Max which I have installed is not available there.

Of course I can watch movies there, using direct navigation with remote, or stream from android app.

But if I'll "run" voice command "Watch 'The Mandalorian' on Disney plus" I get answer (my own translation to English) 'It looks like 'The Mandalorian' is not avaliable on Disney plus or you cannot watch it now'

If I voice search for 'The Mandalorian' only, movie description (with episodes) is displayed but there is no possibility to navigate from it to watch it on Disnel+ app.

Can this be somehow fixed? Can I somehow link my Disney+ and HBOMax acounts to google account in Google Home or at least on Chromecast TV HD?

HBO max appeared lately on Chromecast settings level. Disney is still lacking.

Hey there Bacek,

I apologize for the late response, thank you for being patient! You mentioned that you were from Poland, but it looks like according to the device availability list, the Google Nest family isn't technically released there yet. In this case, some services may not work properly or have the same service availability, such as HBO Max integration. Regardless, keep your Google Home and Chromecast up-to-date. I would also recommend that you submit feedback via the Google Home app to let Google know that you aren't able to link HBO Max to your Google Account.
