What is the maximum number of Chromecasts on different internet connections that can be added to the Home app? This is for multi dwelling units for students etc and each unit has it's own separate SSID/password internet connection. I see there is a limit to 5 "Homes" but can't a limit on number of devices or number of different SSIDs that devices connect to.

Hey there Peregian,
I'm sorry for the late response, I appreciate your patience! Were you able to find the answer to your question? If not, I'd be happy to help! The devices limit should be 254-256 devices, since that's the max amount IP address allowed on /24 subnet. To my knowledge, nobody has that many Google devices on their Google Home app!
I hope that answers your question, if you had any more, please let me know! I'm always happy to help out.
Best regards,
Jeran
