The Chromecast works fine with other streaming apps such as Netflix. Our broadband has a 72mbps download speed which should be ample. The router is in the same room as all the other devices involved, except the PC we tried to cast from as a fix, which had a wired connection. We've tried multiple cast sources, multiple videos on iPlayer and restarted all the devices involved, including the router.
