My chromecast keeps crashing in YouTube an twitch I have never had this problem in 2 years.

Hello, chromecast crashing might be an issue caused by weak signal strength. Suggestions are, try keeping your device closer to the router. Hi ZakariasBenzet,

Adding to the suggestions already made by @jigsaws another common cause for Chromecast's to crash is insufficient power supply. Make sure that you are using the Google supplied power adapter and Never power it from a USB port on the TV.
