The device has been working correctly for months, but today, it only makes it to the Google TV logo with spinning colors. Unplugging and trying again doesn't help. My phone can't find it anymore to initiate a reboot.

There is a small button on the Chromecast device that you can use to force it to Reset. Here are instructions:

Factory reset didn't work. Tried Tech support, and it ended up being escalated to just being sent a replacement since no one could figure out what was wrong.
