how to cast to laptop and TV simultaniously

I want to change the settings for casting from Chrome. Right now if I view content in a browser, and then press Cast, all the content goes to the TV, and the laptop is black. I want to see it on both. I got a window long ago asking if I wanted it to optimize it and therefore only show on the TV and chose that. Now I want to change that. I can't find any information on how to change this setting.

I have tried googling "mirror instead of cast", "cast to laptop as well as TV", but keep getting results on how to cast, now how to change settings.

Does anybody know?

Thanks for reaching out. Casting from a laptop to your TV and playing the video simultaneously on both devices isn't possible when casting a tab. However, you can do this when casting your desktop screen.

So if you want it playing on both you just switch from tab to desktop screen. Ok thank you!
