2 of My 3 Nest Outdoor IQs Stopped Working

Two of my 3 outdoor Nest Outdoor IQ cameras stopped working.  When the first one stopped working (Front Yard camera), it was annoying but is in a place also covered by the doorbell camera so I didn't feel the immediate urgency to go out and troubleshoot.  When the second camera went out (Side Yard Camera), I immediately went out to investigate as that camera was crucial.

I disconnected the Front Yard camera and brought it inside.  It seemed to work with a different c-cord so this seemed like a power cord issue.  Google shipped me new power cords for both the Front Yard and Side Yard cameras.

I installed the new power cord with the Front Yard camera - everything worked fine for several days. Then I moved on to the Side Yard camera and the new power cord did not activate the Side Yard camera.  I took the Side Yard camera and plugged it into the Front Yard camera power cord (as that one was working) to see if that camera would work with a cord I knew had been working - the Side Yard camera did not work.  The Side Yard camera appears to be completely dead.

However, now, when I reconnected the Front Yard camera, to the Front Yard camera power cord - it is now not working.  It is blinking red.

So - bottom line, Side Yard Camera device appears to be completely dead and non-functional.  Plugging the Side Yard Camera into the previously working Front Yard Camera power cord to have affected the functionality of the Front Yard Camera.  Both of these cameras are less than 2 years old but are out of the 1 year warranty that Google apparently provided.

Seeing other people's comments on this site - these cameras are horrible.  A device I spent $400 should not stop working after a year and a half.

Hey there,

Thank you for bringing up the concern you're experiencing, I would love to look into this further for you. The first troubleshooting step that I'd recommend would be to restart your device. This process should keep all your settings, and reconnect it to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever freezes, has connection problems, or isn't working normally.

Best regards,
Brad

I cannot restart the device as it is completely dead.  When plugged into a working power cord to a working outlet there is no activity.

I am very frustrated that this product's performance is so poor and that google does not stand behind it.  A product that I paid $400 for should work for more than 1 year.
