6 identical thermostats, different actions possible

Good evening,

I would originally like to write a longer automation, but I'm already failing at the first step and I don't know where my error is.

I have 6 identical thermostats, the thermostat can be found in the list of supported devices. With the command thermostatTemperatureSetpoint I try to control all 6 thermostats at the same time.
However, I get an error message during validation that two of the thermostats cannot execute this command.

The thermostats are Matter Thread thermostats, all have the same software version and can all be controlled manually via the Google Home app. The first time I tried to write the script, I didn't get an error message, then 4 devices couldn't execute the command and currently 2 can't.

Does anyone have any advice for me?

Thank you

Fun fact: If I use the AI in the right-hand area to get a suggestion on how to write the script, all 6 thermostats with the same action are suggested 😉

Hi

Thank you for reaching out to the community. I'm sorry to hear you're having problems setting up automations to regulate the command temperature with your six thermostats, but don't worry; help is on the way.

At the moment, it is not possible to handle six Nest thermostats at the same time, but the information below on Nest thermostats and automations may help you manage them.

Using multiple Nest thermostats in the same home

Multiple Nest thermostats can operate together in the same house to help you save energy while still maintaining comfort. Temperature schedules are not shared within Nest thermostats in the same home. Each Nest thermostat learns a unique schedule for the zone it regulates.

If you have more questions, please feel free to write in this post.

Regards,

Gabriela
