I use google assistant and whenever i want to issue a command i have to say hey google or ok google every time. But with more devices listening to the term hey google i find other people's devices also respond to my voice commands, which can be annoying. I also have just gotten tired of saying google in all of my voice commands and i sound like an idiot trying to get my phone to hear me by saying hey google repetitively. it would be awesome to be able to set custom wakeup phrases to help avoid these issues and it would add the finishing touches to making my smart home sound really cool. i could say "hey gladdos, turn on the lights" thats so much cooler than saying"hey google, turn on the lights".

Absolutely!! I totally agree with you!! I hope they implement this feature and I hope they do it soon it one of the reasons that I love Alexa and still use it instead of Google assistant for everything because with Alexa I can change the wake word to Computer which is much better at eliminating confusion as well as it just sounds cool like I'm talking to my computer to play some music and skip to the next track... PLUS!! Alexa has Celebrity Voices now that you can purchase to use for a small fee and now I can say "hey Samuel, what do you think about the snakes on the plane?" In which Samuel L Jackson responds with "As long as theres no motherf**kin snakes on the motherf*ckin plane!!" Hahaha which is ALWAYS HILARIOUS 😂
