I live in a multistory home with two ACs, one for each floor. From what I've read, to be most efficient, one should set the upstairs AC to the desired temperature of the home and the downstairs thermostat should be set to a two degrees warmer temperature. In the summer, the opposite—downstairs should be the home desired tell i and upstairs two degrees colder.
Has anyone pulled this off in an automated way? I'd be willing to replace my Nest thermostats if a product was out there that handled third easily.
Sorry to hear about the trouble. I wanted to follow up and see if I could be of any help. I found an article with more details. Please let me know if you are still having any trouble from here, as I would be happy to take a closer look and assist you further.
