Best Way to Monitor Nest Cameras

I use Google Home Max hub to monitor my cameras. I want them on all of the time so I can see what is going on where my cameras are pointed. It does work but it stops whenever it feels like it. No rhyme of reason to when it stops. Then I have to say "hey Google, stream front yard camera". By then, there is nothing to monitor. I do not want it to stop. Is there something that is more reliable for monitoring? This is really losing the battle.

There are many posts in this forum from customers in this forum reporting the same thing--that livestreaming of a Google Nest camera or doorbell to a Nest Hub or Nest Hub Max can halt for no apparent reason, even though the camera or doorbell is online and can still be viewed in the Google Home app or Google Nest app. It happens to us from time to time.  My own suspicion is that it's due to issues on Google Nest's servers (though problems on the customer's Wi-Fi network may also affect this).

I do not think it related to my network as my network has a very solid, fast connection and I never experience issues with anything else and I work from home so I am always connected.  Has Google never responded to any of these? I need to find something else that can keep the monitoring going as I really need to keep my eye on my dog when he is outside among other things.

Sherdes, thanks for posting. Live video from wired Nest cameras and doorbells stops after 12 hours. To start the live stream again, repeat your voice command. Check out this article for more information.
