Can't get Google Home to recognize a new cell phone when asking where my phone is

It keeps trying to find my old cell phone. Can anyone help me with having it find my new cell phone? I'm using a Nest Mini. My old phone is a Galaxy Note 9 and the new is a Galaxy S25 Edge.

Hi @kpool 

You can make sure your new phone shows in your Google Account under devices. You can also remove your older device there. You should be able to then start having your Mini find your new phone.  

Oh...and edit...Make sure your phone is using the same account as the Mini.
