Cannot get Nest Protect smoke & fire alarm pushed to my email and cell phone

There just is not a button to activate fire notification via text or email in the Nest Protect notification page.
Protect is connected to same wi-fi as phone and desktop.
I've gone over and over the instructions but to no avail.
I took everything offline. Created a new account and still nothing.
Trying to turn on Nest Protect notifications of smoke and fire to cell & email. No button in Protect notifications within Nest, just sound check.
The camera pushes sound and movement but not the Nest Protect.
Cannot get Nest Protect pushed to my email and cell phone with Fire alarm
Do not want to use Google Home if I can prevent it.

Uninstalled, reinstalled to no avail. Reset Protect and still no way to push smoke & fire alarms.

Google Home app does not recognize Nest Protect. I do a wi-fi check and it goes through but still no recognition by Google Home.

These are 2nd generation Protects.

Thanks for reaching out, and I'm sorry for the delayed response.

@artisthos, Nest Protects are yet to be supported by the Google Home App, so you can only use the Nest App to add and access them. All alerts are sent automatically via push notification and email notification when Nest Protect detects any potential danger or needs attention as long as it is connected to the Wi-Fi network. Here's your reference link to learn more about how it works.

In line with this, I appreciate your effort to find a way. Our team is committed to improving the Google Home app and providing new features. This will be considered input. For news and updates, check out our Google Nest Community page.

I started with Google's Nest Protect to try and get notifications from Protect to notify my phone but it never worked. Now it looks like it finally happen, but I moved on.

I have been able to get phone notices immediately from my Smart Life App from smoke alarm of Siterwell Wifi Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Detector, Smoke & CO Alarm, Battery Operated, Phone Alert, 10 Year Life Time, ETL Listed UL217 and UL2034, GS886W US$ 49.99 each, paying a fee of $2 to SmartLife for 20 notices.
