Chromecast and PC

in the cast options there is no "cast desktop". What can i do to fix this issue? thanks

Hey Johini,

 

A quick question: when did it start happening? Also, what Chromecast device do you have?

 

Give these steps a try:

 

  • Ensure that the browser used is Google Chrome and that it’s up-to-date.
  • Check that the Chromecast device is set up correctly.
  • Check if other devices can cast successfully (Example: phones, tablets, computers).
  • Reboot the Chromecast.
  • Reboot the casting device.
  • Reboot the router.
  • Check the antivirus of the computer.
  • Perform a Factory reset.
