Hey there,
I’m sorry for the trouble here. Accessing your smoke detectors in the Google Home app isn’t yet an option. I hope it will be possible in the future. Your Nest account must also be migrated to access it in the Google Home app. Let us know if you have more questions in mind.
I appreciate the help, Emerson.
Thanks,
JT

Hi Sloppie79,
We appreciate you taking your time posting here in our Community. Let’s get the most out of your Nest products and see what we can do here. To confirm, what Nest products are you trying to add to your Google Home app? Nest Protect can only be set up and remotely controlled through the Nest App. Also, it can only be connected to the 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi network. Let us know if you have more questions in mind.
Thanks,
Emerson

I got three smoke detectors setup in the Nest app. When i try to link the Nest app to my Home app it asks for a Nest account which i don't have since i used my google account for that. It even says as error i need to login with my Google account, but that option is not available.
