Hello,
I have a Sonoff Matter over wifi light switch (button) and a Nanoleaf essentials Matter over thread lamp. The new Google TV streamer is the central unit.
I have created an automation so that when the button is switched on, the light comes on. And of course the same automation to switch it off. If I press Play under Automation, this is triggered and the light goes on or off.
But when I switch the sonoff button on, nothing happens. But I can see in the app, that the state of the button has changed. This means there is bidirectional communication between the Home app and the switch. The same goes for the light bulb.
I also have a Matter over WiFi light from Hama. I have the same problem with it. But here's the strange thing: if I integrate the Sonoff switch and the Hama lamp into Home Assistant and set up a corresponding automation there, I can turn the Hama lamp on and off with the switch. Unfortunately, it's not possible to do the same with the Nanoleaf lamps because I can't integrate them into Home Assistant.
