Google Home can not connect.

Google Home gives the error message:

"Can not reach Gosund Smart"

All Gosund devices work just fine in the Gosund app. I can not get them to work in Home. They have been working just fine for months until a power surge or power outage.  I have restarted the router, but since they work with Gosund, I doubt this is the problem.  Both Home snd Gosund are using the same Gmail account as my log in.

What do I try next?

Update

Went to my wife's phone which was not controlling Gosund devices either through Home. Loaded the Gosund app and logged in to my account.

Then I went to Home and selected add device. Then Works With Google, then selected Gosund and it linked just fine.

Went back to my Android phone and everything from Gosund was added and worked just fine from Home. 

So now it works.

Go figure.
